Part 2 - The Blueprint Before the Promise
Burning to know how my friend’s story ends? 👀
Keep reading.
Go back to Part 1 first to get the full picture, then come back here. Trust me… you’ll want the whole story.
The Lord Showed Her Bloodline
Then God shifted her prayers.
He began revealing foundational issues within her bloodline.
Some things had repeated for generations.
Some patterns were hidden.
Others were obvious.
The Lord led her into seasons of prayer and fasting—not merely so she could have a God-ordained marriage or accumulate wealth , but so those patterns would end with her.
She realized something:
It isn’t enough to say,
“I’ll never do what my parents did.”
Words don’t break generational cycles.
Prayer does.
The battle isn’t merely physical.
It’s spiritual.
Human wisdom alone cannot solve spiritual problems.
That’s why so many people keep repeating the same cycles, even when their intentions are good.
Real transformation doesn’t come from willpower alone. If you truly want to see lasting change, you have to go all in with God.
So she stayed in the place of prayer.
Breaking patterns.
Destroying strongholds.
Declaring God’s Word over her family line.
Believing that her children—and future generations—would inherit righteousness instead of negative patterns.
Then the Lord Taught Her to Pray for Her Husband
That part was intense.
There were seasons when she prayed for her future husband more than she prayed for herself.
I truly believe that because of the investment God called her to make in prayer, she can never make a mistake in marriage.
She prayed prayers and made proclamations like these:
My husband must arise.
He is a man after God’s own heart.
He is the head priest of our home.
He is a fellow generational pattern breaker.
He walks in the fear of the Lord, and a vessel of honor.
He is a man of truth and a man of conviction.
He stands for justice.
He walks in wisdom and humility.
He walks in power and authority, yet remains completely submitted to Christ.
He is both a lover and a warrior.
God has entrusted him with influence, provision, and wealth—not for personal glory, but because there are Kingdom assignments that require Kingdom resources.
He carries a kingly anointing, but he is also a kingmaker.
And above everything else…
He obeys God wholeheartedly.
Even if he doesn’t fully see all of this about himself today, Heaven already knows who he is.
She prayed according to God’s identity over his life.
Her Lineage Is Royal
Then the Lord expanded her vision.
He showed her that He wasn’t only thinking about her and her future husband.
He was thinking about generations.
He reminded her of Abraham.
The God of Abraham became the God of Isaac.
Then the God of Jacob.
The covenant kept flowing.
That is why, throughout Scripture, God repeatedly identifies Himself as “the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
His desire was never just to bless one generation.
It was always to establish a lineage that knew Him.
Her family is called to be a royal priesthood—a lineage of kings and priests set apart for God’s glory.
Biblically, a priest is someone consecrated and devoted to God, bearing His presence and representing His heart.
I’m not referring to the Catholic understanding of priesthood, where priests remain unmarried, but to the biblical calling that God extends to all His people.
Peter echoes this truth when he writes:
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special people…” — 1 Peter 2:9
Every believer has been invited into that calling.
The Seeds Nobody Sees
Like Hannah in the Bible, there were days she prayed with tears.
Days she travailed.
Days when nobody knew about the conversations happening between her and God.
One day, people may look at her future family and say,
“They’re so blessed.”
“Look at the generational blessings.”
What they won’t see are the seeds planted in secret.
The fasting.
The surrender.
The tears.
The warfare.
The hidden prayers.
Marriage Is Bigger Than Romance
Dear brothers, let me lovingly say this.
If a woman cannot seek God’s face concerning the blueprint of the family she is called to help build…
RUN!!!!!
And sisters, the same applies to us.
Yes, the husband is called to lead.
But he also needs a wife who knows how to hear God’s voice.
Likewise, a wife needs a husband who lives in the secret place.
Two people surrendered to Christ are stronger than one carrying the entire spiritual weight alone.
As Amos 3:3 asks,
“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”
Marriage is not just about compatibility.
It is about destiny.
You can marry a genuinely kind person who still lacks the capacity to support God’s calling over your life.
Not because they are bad.
Simply because they were never assigned to walk that journey with you.
Don’t rush something this important.
You take time making business decisions.
Career decisions.
Financial decisions.
How much more should you pray before choosing the person who will help shape generations after you?
Don’t just desire a “good” marriage.
Pray for a God-ordained marriage.
A Conversation That Blessed Her Heart
I’ll end with something that deeply encouraged my friend.
Someone called her one day and said,
“My mum was talking about you.”
She smiled and asked,
“What did she say?”
The reply caught her completely off guard.
“The man who marries her will be incredibly blessed. He’s marrying gold. That girl truly carries the Spirit of God.”
She almost cried.
Not because it praised her.
But because it was said in her absence.
The greatest compliment isn’t always what people say to your face.
It’s what they say when you aren’t in the room.
And one of the greatest compliments a woman can receive is not simply being known as a woman of God, but as a vessel who genuinely carries His presence.
Titles can be given.. But the fragrance of God’s presence on a life cannot be faked—it speaks for itself.
That conversation felt like God gently whispering to her,
“I’ve heard your prayers.”
So she keeps waiting.
With love.
With joy.
With peace.
…and yes, every now and then, with a few shaky moments too. 😂
But she knows this:
The prayers are not wasted.
The tears are not wasted.
The waiting is not wasted.
One day, her husband, her children, and generations after her will walk in blessings they never realized were watered by prayers prayed long before they arrived.
If you are waiting too, like my friend, don’t grow weary.
Stay in the secret place.
Labor in prayer.
Break the patterns.
Build according to God’s blueprint.
Because when Heaven writes your story, it will be worth the wait.
“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” — Proverbs 31:28
May that be your testimony.
Amen. 🤍

Sound of Salem – “Sparrow”
This song always speaks to my heart. It reminds me to keep trusting God. If He cares for the sparrow, how much more does He care for us?
