Today is for the men.
Yes sir, this one’s for you — the fellas, the brothers, the mighty men in the making. We did one for the ladies, but now it’s your turn to get this loving but necessary heart check. There’s a dangerous trend happening that’s not pleasing to the heart of God — A wave of men who look godly from the outside but are far from surrendered on the inside. This message has been burning in my heart, and I come not with condemnation but with love, truth, and a serious call to repentance. Because the truth is… God is calling His sons higher. And it’s time we call this trend out — lovingly, but boldly.
In this blog, we’re going to break down the two types of men walking around in today’s world:
• The Culture Man
• The Kingdom Man
So buckle up. This ride might be bumpy, but it’s all love. Let’s go.
💣 Culture Man: The God-Talker, Not the God-Walker
Let’s paint the picture: the Culture Man looks like a godly man — on the surface. Let’s be honest, he’s probably respected, charismatic, charming, and considered “godly” by many. He…
• Posts Scriptures on social media (and he’s even got “God first” in his bio).
• Thanks God for his blessings (when he gets a new job, new house, you get the gist )
• Respects his parents and wants a godly wife and kids
• Talks about settling down and raising a family in faith
Sounds like a Kingdom man, right?
Not so fast.
Because behind closed doors, this man is living a double life.
Let’s peel back the curtain…
• Secret sins: He’s still masturbating, watching porn, slipping into fornication, and getting drunk.
• Compromised entertainment: He bumps music that glorifies lust and pride
• Worldly friendships: His circle? Mostly men of the world. Most of his inner circle doesn’t live by God’s Word and standard.
• Double-minded decisions: He’s guided by logic, emotion and the advice of men, not the Holy Spirit . He makes big life choices claiming “God led me,” but never fasted, hardly prayed consistently , engages more in worldly activities ,and never truly sought godly counsel.
He has a form of godliness to the outside. “Having a form of godliness ..…” — 2 Timothy 3:5
He knows about God, but he doesn’t know God. He loves the gifts of God more than the God of the gifts. This man wants to do right. He wants the blessings. But he hasn’t truly submitted to the Lord.
He praises God when the blessings come, but disappears when pruning begins.
He thinks he can muscle through sin with willpower. But bro — thinking you can do it without God’s help is a form of pride. You don’t need more strength, you need more surrender.
😤 “He Fears God” — But He Cuddles Sin?
This man is living a double life. Double-minded, unstable, half in the world and half in the word of God. He claims to fear God but he doesn’t truly because if he truly feared God, he wouldn’t keep cuddling sin.
“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil.”
— Proverbs 8:13.
You say you fear God… but you’re still comfortable doing what breaks His heart?
You’re not truly repenting, you’re just saying sorry because you go back to sin again! (someone needed to hear that). There is a difference between repetance and an apology!
🪞Mirror Moment: Are You Really Following God?
It’s time to stop using God as a stamp of approval for decisions you made in the flesh.
You say God told you to marry her? Build that business? Move to that city?
But God didn’t convict you of your secret sin first?
Hmm…
That’s not alignment, that’s delusion.
Brother, that’s not divine direction — that’s deception.
God doesn’t bless mess. Let me be clear — you might still be receiving blessings, but don’t be fooled… The devil can bless too. He can open doors that look good but lead to destruction. Not all blessings are from God! (That’s why discernment is crucial).
“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” — Proverbs 10:22
This is why your decisions are shaky. Why your emotions run the show. Why you’re building “blessings” on compromised foundations — because God isn’t truly leading them.
Let me ask plainly:
Why would God give you a spouse, a platform, a business — if you haven’t let Him lead your private life?
👑 Kingdom Man: All In. No Compromise.
Now let’s talk about the Kingdom Man.
He’s not perfect, but he’s surrendered.
Every part of his life — thoughts, marriage, money, music, friends, fashion, emotions, business — is submitted to the Lordship of Jesus.
He doesn’t flirt with sin. He used to struggle with porn, masturbation, fornication, lying, all of it — but he didn’t stay there. He ran to the cross and let the fire of God burn it away and God delivered him. His taste for sin is gone. He’s not faking freedom — he’s living it.
This man is led by the Spirit, not by trends. He’s got accountability, a godly community, and abides by biblical standards.
He doesn’t just say “God first” — you can see it in his lifestyle.
He’s surrounded by kingdom brothers, not culture men.
“Bad company corrupts good character.” — 1 Corinthians 15:33
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
— Luke 9:23. That’s the soundtrack to his life!
He seeks God’s will before he makes moves.
He fast. He prays. He studies the word of God. He discerns. He obeys. He leans on grace — not on self-discipline alone.
He is honest, humble, and hungry for more of God.
From Culture to Kingdom: A Real Life Example
Let’s go to Zacchaeus, the tax collector (Luke 19). He was corrupt, greedy, dishonest — a certified Culture Man. But when Jesus showed up? He said:
“Look, Lord! I give half my possessions to the poor. And if I’ve cheated anybody, I will repay them four times the amount.”
— Luke 19:8
Jesus didn’t even tell him to repent.
The presence of Jesus alone exposed his sin and brought transformation.
This is what happens when you truly encounter God for real — you change.
A heart change.
A lifestyle change.
A new creation indeed!
🛑 Culture Can’t Save You — Only Jesus Can
Let me speak plainly now — in love.
You can’t keep claiming God while cuddling sin.
You’re not just compromising yourself — you’re confusing others.
If you’re not ready to surrender, please stop posting about a God you don’t obey. You’re misrepresenting the Kingdom. You might lead someone else into confusion with your double life.
Stop calling it “God’s will” when it’s your flesh’s desire.
Jesus said:
“These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”
— Matthew 15:8
If you’re not ready to die to self, you’re not ready to represent the Kingdom. You can’t keep claiming Christ and cuddling compromise.
📣 A Loving Word to the Culture Man
This message is not to shame you.
It’s to awaken you.
“The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
— 2 Peter 3:9
But make no mistake — some are perishing because of free will. God loves you too much to let you keep living this double life. He’s calling you into full surrender, not halfway holiness.
You can’t do this halfway. Halfway surrender is still disobedience.
✝️ Final Call: Kingdom Over Culture
My brother, it’s time to pick a side.
You’ve been sitting on the fence too long.
God isn’t asking for perfection — He’s asking for your FULL yes. Your whole yes. He’s calling you to be a Kingdom man in a culture that’s begging you to conform.
Choose today whom you will serve?
Lay down your life. Pick up your cross. Let the Holy Spirit truly lead you.
Because Kingdom men don’t just talk about God. They walk with Him.
It’s not about works. It’s about a new heart.
If you’re reading this and feeling convicted — good. That’s the Holy Spirit. Don’t ignore Him. Repent. Get in the Word. Surround yourself with Kingdom men. Ask God to crucify your flesh and build you into the man He designed you to be.
Choose today who you will be?
Not by your posts. Not by your talk.
By your surrender and actions.
Let’s go, Kingdom man. We need you. 💪🏾🔥
It’s forever Kingdom over culture. Every time!
